Hi, I'm Vanessa!

I'm the person who'll stand beside you on one of the most important days of your life, helping you celebrate your love story in a way that's completely, authentically you.

I live in Gloucester with my husband Yosia and our three children. We moved here from London just before the world turned upside down in 2020, and honestly? We don't miss the hustle and bustle one bit. There's something magical about country living – the space to breathe, the gorgeous venues, and the incredible community we've become part of.

How I Became a Celebrant

My journey to celebrancy began in the most unexpected way – watching a TV show. (I won't tell you which one because you'd probably give me an eye roll!) One of the participants was a celebrant, and watching her work sparked something in me. I dove straight into research, discovered this incredible profession, and knew immediately that this was my calling.

I love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and finding those unique details that make each couple's journey special. With my background in property, customer service, and even a bit of acting (just as an extra in commercials – but hey, it counts!), I bring a unique perspective to every ceremony I create.

What Makes Me, Me

If you're wondering what kind of person I am, here's the unfiltered version:
I'm a bit of a softie at heart. I love romantic films and comedies (and yes, all the Marvel and DC films too!). I'm that person who's first on the dance floor and last to leave – I genuinely love celebrating life and love with people.

For the past two years, I've been part of an adult cheerleading team in Gloucester, which has been an absolute blast. I'm passionate about travel and make sure we have at least one family holiday a year because sometimes you just need to get away and recharge.

I'm also ridiculously organised. I love a good list (like, really love them), so I'm always the one sorting out travel arrangements, planning outings, and coordinating parties. This tendency toward organisation means your ceremony planning will be smooth, structured, and stress-free.

My Ceremony Style

When it comes to ceremonies, my style is romantic, elegant, luxurious, and timeless. I bring enthusiasm, warmth, and empathy to everything I do. I believe the perfect ceremony combines symbolic elements with traditional touches, creating something that feels both meaningful and beautifully unique.

I'm naturally family-oriented, so I love encouraging couples to involve their children, parents, or close friends in the ceremony. Whether it's a sand ceremony with blended families or a special moment with grandparents, these touches make your celebration even more memorable.

What truly sets me apart is my ability to listen – really listen – to your stories. I then craft those moments into a narrative that captures who you are as a couple while keeping everyone engaged and in the moment.

Working With Me

From the moment we first connect to your ceremony day and beyond, I'm fully invested in making your experience exceptional. You'll have unlimited contact with me – WhatsApp, phone, email, whatever works best for you.

I arrive at least an hour before your ceremony to coordinate with your venue and suppliers, greet your guests, and make sure every detail is perfect. Before the ceremony begins, I'll come see you to help settle any last-minute nerves and remind you to enjoy every single moment.
